Why the Veda Films Lab exists: product ideas should come from real editing friction, not abstract software demos.

The Lab side of Veda Films is not separate from the production side. It comes from the same daily problems: messy workflows, too many tools, rough handoffs, and edits that lose time to admin instead of story.

Asterion is the first public step in that direction. It brings AI generation, voice, and lipsync closer to Premiere Pro because that is where editors are already making decisions.

The larger idea is simple: build tools from real post-production pressure, then keep them practical enough that working filmmakers can actually use them.
