Why I Built Asterion: I Was Tired of Leaving Premiere

A practical note on why Asterion exists: AI tools are powerful, but browser-tab workflows slow real editors down.

AI tools are impressive, but most of them ask editors to leave the timeline, open a browser, upload references, wait, download, rename, import, and rebuild context.

Asterion is a response to that daily friction. It is not trying to replace Premiere Pro or replace editors. It is trying to make generation, voice, and lipsync tests easier to run from the place editors already work.

The first goal is simple: test AI ideas faster without turning the edit into a chain of exports, uploads, downloads, and manual imports.
